DOTI: A husband reportedly burnt her wife to death at Shikhar municipality-4 in Doti district.
Husband Minraj Sharma and his family burnt 26-year-old Bhabana Bhatta to death after sprinkling petrol on her body, according to Bhatta’s brother Shaligram Bhatta.
Senior Superintendent of Police Dilip Singh Deuba, however, said no complaints related to the incident have been lodged with the police.
The incident happened on November 23. The girl died at home after being discharged from a hospital in India.
She was initially taken to Sujung hospital in Doti before she was referred to Seti Provincial Hospital, Kailali and then to a hospital in India.
