PHIDIM: Falgunanda Rural Municipality of Panchthar has decided to establish and operate Falgunanda Language Institute to make mother language education effective and well-managed.
Newly-elected Chairperson of Falgunanda Rural Municipality, Bir Bahadur Kurumbang took the decision while assuming the office on Wednesday.
He informed that the decision was made to establish and run the language institute so as to produce mother language educators and educate language effectively.
Likewise, he also shared that the rural municipality decided to complete the construction of administrative building of rural municipality within two years, formulate periodic plan of Falgunanda within six months, operate poverty alleviation program, ensure gender equality and good governance and improve service delivery through the use of information technologies.
On the occasion, Kurumbang urged all sides to cooperate and collaborate in the collective efforts to make Falgunanda folks happy and prosperous.
