KATHMANDU: The Public Service Commission (PSC) on Tuesday submitted its 60th annual report of the fiscal year 2018-19 to President Bidya Devi Bhandari.

Chairman of the PSC, Umesh Prasad Mainali presented the report to the President at a program at the Rastrapati Bhawan, Shital Niwas.

As per the constitutional provision, the PSC presents its annual report mentioning the progress about works execution of a year to the President.

On the occasion, Chairman Mainali assured of further boosting up PSC’s image as a disciplined and fair organization.

The report present to the President features the PSC’s administrative and fiscal status, academic competency, audit technology, and other works carried out in regard to its curriculum, exams, inclusive appointments, and interviews and recommendations.

According to PSC information officer Devi Prasad Subedi, the PSC in the last fiscal year had organized 87 meetings which ended in 297 decisions.

The report has stated that the organization develops 30 syllabuses for posts of various levels at the local-level.
