BAJURA: Rainfall with hailstorm has caused severe damages to ready-to-harvest vegetables, crops, and fruits at Badimalika municipality-1 in Bajura district.

Local farmer, Harka Bahadur Karki said that the hailstorm occurred on Monday has destroyed rice, millet, banana, orange, and vegetable farming.

He stated that the hailstone had damaged ready-to-harvest crops, fruits and vegetables of over 1,100 farmers.

Deputy Mayor of the municipality Kavita Bista informed that relief package would be announced after collecting details of the rain-triggered losses.
