DANG: A seven-year-old girl has died of snakebite in Dang.
The incident happened at night when a Goma Oli of Simatara in ward no. 1 of Ghorahi municipality, was bitten by a snake.
She was immediately rushed to the Rapti Institute of Health Sciences hospital but died in the course of treatment, said Deputy Superintendent of Police Binod Bikram Shahi.
Meanwhile, around six passengers have been injured in a road accident at Pakhapani in ward no. 1 of Rapti rural municipality last night.
A bus bearing registration number Lu. 1 Kha. 8459 heading toward Dang from Rupandehi met with an accident because of potholes in the road.
