Three Nepalis die in road accident in Missouri, US



KATHMANDU: Three Nepalis have died in a road accident in Joplin, Missouri of the United States (US).

Joplin Police have released information after a September 3rd crash on I-44 that claimed the life of three Nepalis. A father and child have been hospitalized.

The deceased have been identified as Sraddha Ojha Khanal, Shanta Khanal and Govinda Khanal of Nepal.

They were taken to the hospital after the accident where they were pronounced dead.

The accident occurred around 3:00 pm (local time) in the eastbound lanes near the Missouri 249 interchange.

Police said they were traveling in a silver Toyota Rav4 east on I-44, east of Missouri 249.

The car diver Pravash Ojha, of Blue Springs, was taken to a hospital and is said to be in stable condition.

Likewise, Pravash’s 4-year-old son, who was restrained in a car seat, has been taken to a hospital for life-threatening injuries.
