Heavy rains to continue till Wednesday



KATHMANDU: Heavy downpour has been forecast for the next three days, said meteorologists.

With the monsoon trough surging towards the northern direction (Nepal), the weather is partly to generally cloudy, according to Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD). The Department said heavy rains is occurring accompanied by lightnings and thunderstorms in the terai region.

According to MFD, the weather will remain partly to generally cloudy with chances of light to moderate rains across the country. Likewise, heavy rains are likely to occur in the eastern, western and tarai regions today.

Similarly, the weather will be partly to generally cloudy across the country with chances of heavy rains in some places of the country tonight.
