Baglung landslide death toll climbs to 3



BAGLUNG: Three people have after a landslide buried their houses in Lammela of Tamankhola Rural Municipality-4 in the district on early Monday.

The deceased have been identified as Chandra kumari Shreepali, wife of Om Bahadur Shreepali, 70-year-old Asari Shreepali and 12-year-old son Prabin Shreepali, said DSP Jhabindra Prasad Bhattarai of District Police Office Baglung. Three bodies have been retrieved.

The landslide that came down from 150 meters above incurred damages to over 5 houses. Police said they have are searching the missing people. The landslide had occurred at 1 pm today.

Six others have sustained injuries in the incident. They have been sent to the hospital for treatment after rescue.
