Gold hits Rs 66,300 per tola



KATHMANDU: The price of gold has hit the record high. Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers Association (FENEGOSIDA) on Sunday fixed Rs 66,300 as the price of hallmark gold per tola. Similarly, the gold on Friday was traded for Rs 65,500 per on Friday.

With the price hike in the international market, the price of bullion has gone up in the Nepali market, too.

The gold price has hit US$ 1,441 per ounce  in the global market.

According to gold traders, the sale of gold has gone down by 75 percent after the price went up.
