Nepali Sat 1 to enter earth’s orbit on June 17

KATHMANDU: The first Nepali satellite ‘Nepali Sat-1’ will enter the earth’s orbit on June 17.

The satellite, which was launched by Nepal Academy of Science and Technology (NAST) in collaboration with  the Kyushu Institute of Technology (KIT), Japan one month ago, has been in the international space.

“The Nepali satellite, which is now in the international space, will enter the orbit of the earth from June 17,” said Dr Rabindra Dhakal, chief of Faculty of Technology, NAST.
