KATHMANDU: The National Council on Disaster Risk Reduction and Management has instructed concerned government bodies to arrange necessary preparedness to reduce disaster risks.

A meeting of the Council held today in Kathmandu directed all bodes at the federal, state and local levels to ensure disaster preparedness.

It directed the Home Ministry to bring an Act to annihilate duplication in the distribution of relief materials in view of the monsoon season.

On the occasion, Prime Minister KP Oli instructed the Home Ministry to equip all concerned bodies with resources to cope up the natural disaster.
