BERLIN: Germany’s VDA automobile association said it is slashing more jobs in 2020.
It said on Wednesday that it expected global car sales to fall by 5 percent this year adding that the crisis would force them to cut more jobs in 2020.
VDA President Bernhard Mattes said that utilization is going down and temporary work contracts are not being renewed.
Mattes said that for 2019, the already expect a drop in employment on the year, which he argued will worsen in 2020. (Agencies)
