Two die in accident in Mahottari



MAHOTTARI: Two persons died when a pickup truck met with an accident at Maisthan of Mahottari district along the East-West Highway on Wednesday morning.

The deceased have been identified as Shakuntala Devi Sah from Dhanusha Dham-2 and Bartaniya Devi Mahato, an Indian citizen, police have said.

Seriously injured Sah and Mahato were taken to Shubha Swastik Hospital in Bardibas where they succumbed to injuries.

Likewise, 16 people, two critically, have been injured in the accident.
