By-elections: 22 candidates did not cast votes for themselves

KATHMANDU: Nepal has held by-elections to elect representatives for 52 vacant posts in the House of Representatives, State Assemblies and local bodies in 37 districts on November 30.

The results of the by-elections have also been published.

Interestingly, it was revealed that some election candidates did not cast votes for themselves.

A number of those who did not cast votes for themselves were 22 while 10 candidates secured a single vote each, said the Election Commission.
