Four laborers trapped in hydro tunnel in Bajhang

CHAINPUR: Four laborers have gone missing after being trapped in a tunnel of 65-megawatt Kalanga Hydropower under construction at Bungal of Bajhang district.

According to District Police Office Bajhang, six labors went into the tunnel along with three tractors and a jeep. Two of them came out while the four are still missing.

Those missing are Karna Bahadur Shahi, Mahendra Bahadur Shahi of Daileksh, Mahendra Saud of Achham and Shershing Dhami of Bajhang, said DSO Ganesh Bam of DPO, Bajhang.
