CIAA summons 58 people implicated in Baluwatar land grab

KATHMANDU: The Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) on Wednesday has summoned those involved in transferring the ownership of the Baluwatar government land to individuals for statements within seven days.

The anti-graft body issued a notice today summoning 58 persons who have been involved in the land grab scam to record their statements.

The Trital Committee had in December 2018 submitted its report to the government stating that the land transferred to individuals’ names actually belonged to the government.
