One killed in Kapan ‘gang’ fight

KAPAN: Sanjay Rai, hailing from Bar Pokhari Municipality-6 of Khotang, has been killed in a ‘gang’ fight in Kapan, Kathmandu on Tuesday night.

Superintendent of Police at Metropolitan Police Range, Kathmandu, Ashok Singh informed that Rai was killed in a ‘gang’ fight.

Police have arrested Sagar Basnet, 17, of Solukhumbu, Ajay Rai, 16, from Morang, Prem Rai, 31, of Solukhumbu and Susan Rai, 24, of Ilam in connection with the incident.

Critically injured Rai, who was rushed to TU Teaching Hospital, Maharajgunj passed away in course of treatment.
