13 injured in Tanahun bus accident

DAMAULI: Thirteen passengers were injured in a bus accident at Dhawa of Bandipur Rural Municipality-5 along the Prithvi Highway on Sunday morning.

The driver of the bus, Ba 4 Kha 59880, heading to Beni of Myagdi from Narayangadh lost control over the steering to cause the bus to slide down the roadway, resulting in the injury of 13 passengers, said the District Police Office, Tanahun.

Those receiving injuries have been undergoing treatment at Laxmi Hospital of Dumre in the district, according to Deputy Superintendent of Police, Leela Raj Lamichhane.

He added that the condition of the injured is out of risk.
