Civil hospital distributes bonuses against loss of 90 mln

KATHMANDU: Civil Service Hospital, the only hospital that caters treatment to the government staffers at a subsidized rate, is at the loss of over 90 million.

Ironically, four million rupees has been distributed among the staffers as an incentive despite the huge loss the hospital is facing.

According to Ranjana Nepal, administrative officer of the hospital, the hospital suffered the loss after expenditure exceeded the income.

According to her, the hospital spends 10 percent of the hospital’s total income as an inventive to a total of  334 staffers.
