KATHMANDU: Lawmakers from ruling and opposition parties have continued speaking on their views in the recently-unveiled budget.

On the occasion, the lawmaker and ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) leader Surendra Prasad Pandey supported the budget as being brought taking into account financial discipline, and something that would address people’s expectation and show guidance.

Likewise, the main opposition Nepali Congress leader Min Bishwokarma criticized the budget as something that could not carry out development activities and work for the welfare of the people.
