Pillion rider dies in Kavre road mishap

BANEPA: A pillion rider died on the spot in a road accident at Namobuddha Municipality of Kavrepalanchowk on Tuesday morning.

The deceased has been identified as Amin Sathir, 18, of Inaruwa of Sunsari district, according to the District Police Office, Dhulikhel.

The accident took place when a truck, Ba 4 Kha 5237, coming towards Kathmandu from Ramechhap and a motorcycle, Ba 95 Pa 7686, en route to Sunsari from Kathmandu collided with each other.

Similarly, the motorcyclist, Nazir Sathir, 25, of the same place was injured in the incident and he is receiving treatment at Mithankot Hospital.
