KATHMANDU: A meeting of Council of Ministers has begun at the prime minister’s residence in Baluwatar on Sunday afternoon.

Press Advisor to PM Oli, Kundan Aryal, said that PM Oli is chairing the meeting following a health check-up.

PM Oli reached the Maharajgunj-based Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital (TUTH) this morning for a health checkup. The prime minister reached the hospital at around 9 am and underwent an X-ray of his chest.

A Secretariat meeting of the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) is also scheduled at Baluwatar for today to finalize the candidates for the by-elections.
