KATHMANDU: Outgoing Speaker Krishna Bahadur Mahara, who resigned after an allegation of sexual assault, has returned government facilities.

According to Press Advisor to Mahara, Dilli Malla, police and army personnel deployed for his security have been sent off. 17 army personnel under the leadership of a Captain and 11 police personnel led by Police Inspector were deployed for his security.

Mahara also handed over the jeep, Ba 2 Jha 1268, to Parliament Secretariat.

He had resigned from the post after a woman working at Parliament Secretariat alleged him of sexually assaulting her.
