Aaditya’s net worth Rs 16 crore: Indian media



MUMBAI: Aaditya Thackeray, Youth President of India’s Shiv Sena, the first member of the Thackery family to contest an election, has a net worth IRs 16 crore.

If the affidavit submitted by him is to be believed, Aaditya, 29, has movable assets worth IRs 11.38 crore and immovable assets worth Rs 4.67 crore.

He owns a BMW car worth IRs 6.5 lakh. Indian media reports said Aaditya does not have any criminal cases against him.

The grandson of stalwart Bal Thackeray, Aaditya is contesting the Maharashtra assembly election from Worli.

The affidavit said that Aadtiya has a total of IRs 10.36 crore in various banks and other financial institutions.

He has also invested IRs 20.39 lakh in bonds, share market, debentures and mutual funds.

In his immovable property, he owns five agricultural plots in Maharashtra — gifted by his father — having a combined market value of IRs 77.66 lakh.

A Bachelor of Laws from the KC Law College and a Bachelor of Arts from Mumbai’s St. Xavier College, Aadtiya owns IRs 64.65 lakh worth of jewelry, gold, and other valuables, media reports have said. (Agencies)
