Governor Tumbahang certifies State Public Service Commission Bill  



BIRATNAGAR: Governor of State no. 1 Prof Dr. Govinda Bahadur Tumbahang has certified the Bill designed to provide for the State Public Service Commission.

The bill had been unanimously passed by the 40th meeting of the State Assembly on August 27.

This paves the way for the State government to appoint a chairperson and members of the Commission, and subsequently civil servants for itself.

The bill was certified as per Article 201 (2) of the Constitution. The number of bills certified by the Governor has reached 37 so far, according to Governor’s s press advisor Shekhar Regmi.
