Trump arrives in the UK for a three-day state visit

LONDON: US President Donald Trump on Monday arrived in the UK for a three-day official state visit, media reports have said.

The Air Force One landed at the Stansted Airport this morning.

US President Trump will meet Royal family members. Reports said he is also expected to discuss Chinese technology firm Huawei during talks with UK Prime Minister Theresa May.

Trump, however, criticized Sadiq Khan, Mayor of London, with whom he has clashed in the past.

In a tweet, Trump described Khan as a “stone cold loser”.

According to reports, Trump and May are expected to discuss Huawei, which the US has blacklisted for security reasons. (Agencies)
