Nepal climbs three spots to rank 11th in T20 rankings

KATHMANDU: Nepal has climbed three spots to be ranked 11th with 212 points in the new T20 rankings unveiled by the International Cricket Council (ICC). Earlier, Nepal was placed in 14th position.

Nepal’s improvement in the ranking unveiled by the global cricket governing body owes to its 2-1 series win over the UAE. Bangladesh is in 10th position, one spot ahead of Nepal.

Pakistan has been placed first with 286 points, South Africa second with 262 points and England is in the third position with 261 points. Likewise, Australia (261) and India (260) have been placed fourth and fifth respectively.
