Triathlon : Nepal, India secure equal number of gold in SAG 2019



POKHARA: Nepal and India, both have secured a similar number of gold medals on the 1st day of the ‘SAG Triathlon’ held in Pokhara. Indian triathlete Adarsha M.N. Sinimol of men’s category and Nepalese Sony Gurung of women’s category received the gold.

On the first day of Triathlon, India has won the highest number of medals— one gold, two silver, and one bronze while Nepal has received only one gold and one bronze under different categories until now.

In men’s category, Indian athlete Bishworjit Srikhom and Thoudam Sarojini Devi, and Mohan Pragya (women’s category) won the silver medal.

In addition to it, Nepalese athlete Basanta Tharu under men’s category has secured 1 Bronze medal.

The Triathlon competition will last till December 3.
