FLORIDA: Florida’s legislature has passed a bill that allows teachers to carry guns in the classroom, media reports said.

The House of Representatives of Florida voted 65 to 47 to pass the bill following hours of debate in which the majority of the Republican thwarted Democratic efforts to stall, amend or kill the measure.

Republican Governor Ron DeSantis is likely to sign the bill into law
