NCP agrees on share of politburo members



KATHMANDU: With the deal sealed on the district level unification, Nepal Communist Party (NCP) has agreed in principle on the share of the politburo members.

According to NCP sources,  a meeting held between NCP chairpersons duo KP Sharma Oli and Pushpa Kamal Dahal decided to form a 147-member politburo, around one third of the central committee which has now 441 members.

According to the agreement, the politburo will be compromised of  with 49 members from Pushpa Kamal Dahal, 38 from KP Sharma Oli, 36 from Madhav Kuamar Nepal, 10 from Ram Bahadur Thapa, seven from Bamdev Gautam and seven from Narayan Kaji Shrestha.
