KATHMANDU: Nepal Republican Party has expressed its concern over the cruel and unjust behavior China has been showering against the Tibetan Buddhists, the Muslims and the civil rights campaigners of Hong Kong.

Labeling Chinese attitude as a totalitarian move, the press release issued by the party has warned China not to stretch its slaying paws against the democratic forces in Hong Kong.

The party has appreciated US President Donald Trump’s decision to assent ‘The Hong Kong Human Rights and Democracy Act’. The release issued by Siddhartha Gautam has hoped that all democratic forces of the world will work for hand in hand to make China go for democracy, religious freedom, human rights and freedom of expression.

Gautam has condemned the Chinese government’s attempt to nullify the spirit of Buddhism in China, Nepal and all over the world. It has even warned the rulers of China not to poke their nose in Nepal’s domestic politics as their mission will bear no fruits here as Nepalis are already aware of their intent.
