NCP wins Vice-chairman in Kharpunath of Humla

KATHMANDU: Rupa Shahi of the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) has been elected Vice-chairman of Kharpunath Rural Municipality in Humla district garnering 1,445 votes.

Her closest candidate Tara Shahi of the Nepali Congress received 1,385 votes.

In the earlier election, Nepali Congress candidate Sindhu Hamal was elected Vice-chairman of the rural municipality.
