PM Oli’s wound getting healed

KATHMANDU: The health condition of Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, who underwent surgery for appendicitis, is improving significantly and surgical wound is healing.

According to doctors involved in his treatment, the PM’s overall health condition including kidney function is good.

“The PM’s health is improving remarkably, the surgical wound is getting healed,” said Manmohan Cardiothoracic Vascular and Transplant Centre’s Executive Director Prof Dr. Uttam Krishna Shrestha.

PM had undergone an appendectomy on November 26.

He started taking solid food since Thursday and has been able to move slowly.

“We have given attention to all necessary things for his treatment. If the existing pace of improvement continues, he can be discharged this week.”

According to the PM’s private doctor Dr. Dibya Singh, he has been in the Intensive Care Unit just to prevent the infection risk on his surgical wound.
