KASKI: Seven people were buried to death after a mound of earth caved in in Pokhara.

They were killed after a mound of earth above them caved in and fell over them while they were digging a sewerage in Pokhara Metropolitan City-20, said District Police Office, Kaski.

The bodies of three deceased have been retrieved while the rescue operation for the rest is underway.

The drainage construction was underway as part of connectivity road project under the Pokhara metropolis.
