KATHMANDU: The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) has arrested a government employee with Rs 250,000 bribe money.

The anti-graft body in a statement on Saturday said that Trilok Joshi, an engineer at the Department of Urban Development and Building Construction Federal Project Implementation Unit, Dhangadi was nabbed with the kickback on Friday.

A CIAA team deployed from Kanchanpur arrested him for demanding a bribe from a service seeker.
