Two die in jeep accident



MYAGDI: Two persons were killed when a jeep met with an accident near Aasan of Malika rural municipality-2 in Myagdi district on Friday afternoon.

The jeep (Gha 1 Ja 598) was heading toward Rum from Darbang Bazar when it met with an accident.

The deceased have been identified as Sak Bahadur BK of Malika rural municipality-2, according to Police Inspector Dhruba Prasad Sharma. The identification of the other deceased is yet to be ascertained.

Inspector Sharma informed that 15 other passengers are safe. Three passengers, including the two deceased,  traveling on the roof of the jeep were flipped over and tumbled down the cliff when the jeep overturned. One, traveling on the roof, has been injured in the accident.
