Nepal announces final squad against Australia

KATHMANDU: Nepal national football men’s team head coach Johan Kalin has announced his final squad for the match against Australia of the Asian Qualifiers FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 and Asian Cup China 2023.

The squad is the same that traveled Kuwait.

Kalin has also included three players in his list for backup. The players are Alan Neupane, Bimal Rana and Ravi Silwal.

Nepal will play Australia on October 10 in its third match of Group B Qualifiers match.

Final squad:

Goalkeepers: Kiran Chemjong, Bikesh Kuthu, Bishal Shrestha

Defenders: Saroj Dahal, Ajit Bhandari, Dinesh Rajbanshi, Ananta Tamang, Devendra Tamang, Rajeen Dhimal, Suman Aryal

Midfielders: Sunil Bal, Ravi Paswan, Anjan Bista, Sujal Shrestha, Heman Gurung, Bikram Lama, Tej Tamang, Santosh Tamang, Bishal Rai, Rohit Chand

Forwards: Bimal Gharti Magar, Abishek Rijal, Nawayug Shrestha.
