Bihar floods: Death toll reaches 40



PATNA: Death toll in the rain-related incidents, including floods, have mounted to 40 in Bihar, Indian media reports have said.

Several parts of the Indian state of Bihar have been reeling from incessant rain-triggered floods since the past few days.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has already discussed the flood situation with Bihar’s Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. PM Modi has assured that the central government was ready to provide all possible help. (Agencies)
