At least 31 passengers die after bus falls into gorge in J&K



JAMMU & KASHMIR: At least 31 people have died and 13 others injured when a bus fell into a gorge in Kishtwar of the Indian state of Jammu & Kashmir, Indian media reports have said.

According to reports, the death toll may rise even further. Police said that the overloaded minibus bearing registration number JK17-6787, was heading towards Kishtwar from Keshwan when it skidded off the road falling into a deep gorge.

Police with the help of locals have been engaged in the rescue operation. (Agencies)
