Two bikers die in Nawalparasi road mishap



NAWALPARASI: Two persons were killed when a truck hit a motorbike at Kawaswoti-8 in Nawalparasi along the East-West Highway on Monday morning.

The accident occurred when a truck (Lu 2 Kha 10) heading toward Butwal from Narayangarh hit the motorbike bearing registration number Lu 49 Pa 3625.

Motorbike rider Milan Bhattarai, 27, of Devdaha, Rupandehi, and Tara Pokharel, 33, pillion rider died in the accident. Bhattarai and Pokharel, who were critically injured, died while undergoing treatment at Kaligandaki Hospital Kawaswoti, police said.
