19 injured in blast at Russian explosives plant

MOSCOW: A blast at an explosives plant in central Russia left at least 19 people injured on Saturday, international media report said.

The blast took place at the “Kristall” factory in Dzerzhinsk about 400 kilometers (250 miles) east of Moscow.

The local health ministry said all the injured are receiving medical assistance.
