SINGAPORE: Beijing warned US against any attempt to underestimate the strength and efficacy of China’s military on Friday. The top defense officials from both the countries met on the sidelines of a security forum held in Singapore.
Both Beijing and Washington show the belligerence with exchange of ‘strong’ words. Both the countries vie for influence in the region where South China Sea, Korean Peninsula and Taiwan Straits have emerged as flash points bringing them in direct confrontation against each other.
