KATHMANDU: President Bidya Devi Bhandari has appointed resident ambassador to Canada on the recommendation of the Council of Ministers.

Joint Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Bhrigu Dhungana was appointed as the as the ambassador to Canada.

The appointment was made in accordance with the Article 282 (1) of the Constitution of Nepal.
