Govt employee arrested red-handed with bribe

BHAKTAPUR: A team from the Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) arrested a government employee while taking bribe.

The anti-graft body arrested Nayab Subba of Inland Revenue Office, Bhaktapur, Sabin Subedi, red-handed while taking Rs 15,000 as bribe from a service-seeker.

The team arrested Subedi from his office, according to the Metropolitan Police Circle, Jagati.

Subedi had asked the bribe from the service seeker alluring him of revenue adjustment.
