Event promoting Nepal’s Tourism held in Chengdu China

KATHMANDU: Aimed at encouraging Chinese citizens to visit Nepal, a tourism promotion event was organized in Chengdu, Sichuan Province, China on Thursday.

The event was attended by over 200 people, including hotel entrepreneurs from Nepal and China, the Nepali community residing in Chengdu, media representatives, and Chinese tourists.

Organized by the Consulate General of Nepal in Chengdu in collaboration with the Nepal Tourism Board and the Hotel Association of Nepal (HAN), the event aimed to showcase Nepal’s attractions to the Chinese audience.

During the event, Nepal’s Consul General Suresh Raut urged the Chinese community, including tourism entrepreneurs, to consider visiting Nepal.

He pledged to make every effort to ensure the convenience and comfort of Chinese tourists during their stay in Nepal.

HAN President Binayak Shah expressed the eagerness of tourism entrepreneurs in Nepal to welcome an increasing number of tourists from China while committing to providing high-quality hospitality services.

Additionally, HAN and the Sichuan Travel Agency signed and exchanged a memorandum of understanding (MoU) aimed at promoting mutual cooperation between the two entities.
