Unified Socialist holding CC meeting on May 10 and 11



KATHMANDU: The Unified Socialist party has called its Central Committee (CC) meeting in Kathmandu on May 10-11.

The central committee meeting will discuss the party’s ideological perspectives.

Unified Socialist’s general secretary, Ghanashyam Bhusal, shared that the meeting will address various agendas, including the progress of people-based organizations, the contemporary political situation, and the endorsement of renewed organized members.

The meeting will also allocate responsibilities among the leaders, striking a provincial, regional, and geographical balance, and set standards for selecting delegates for the party’s upcoming national convention.

At the meeting, party chair Madhav Kumar Nepal will present a contemporary political report, while general secretary Bhusal will present an organizational report.

The party has already decided to hold its national general convention in Kathmandu from June 30 to July 4.
