PM Dahal to address lawmakers’ queries in parliament on Monday



KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ is set to respond to questions raised by lawmakers in the parliament on the upcoming Monday.

In a communication sent to the parliament today, the Office of the Prime Minister and the Council of Ministers conveyed that the Prime Minister was unable to address lawmakers on Friday due to prior scheduled commitments.

Dr. Ganesh Prasad Pandey, the Secretary of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers, communicated this information in a letter to the Secretary-General of the Federal Parliament.

In response to demands from parliament members on current national issues, Speaker Devraj Ghimire directed the government to ensure that the Prime Minister responds to the parliament on Monday, March 4.

During today’s parliamentary session, lawmakers from the main opposition party CPN-UML and Rastriya Prajatantra Party demanded the Prime Minister’s response.
