KATHMANDU: The weather will remain generally clear throughout the Dashain festival, the Meteorological Forecasting Division said.

However, the weather today is likely to be cloudy partially in the hilly areas of the country and will be clear in the rest areas, according to the Division.

Although there will be partial impact of the westerly wind, the weather will generally be clear throughout the Dashain festival, it said.

According to meteorologist Rojan Lamichhane, light rain along with a thundershower is predicted in one or two places of the hilly areas today afternoon.

Light rain alongside a thundershower is likely in one or two places of the high hilly and mountainous areas of Sudurpaschim, Karnali, Gandaki and Bagmati provinces, he said.
