DHANGADHI: Three convicts involved in the Tikapur incident in Kailali were released on Wednesday.
On the occasion of Constitution Day, 2080, three convicts who were arrested in crimes including murder, and robbery were released with the amnesty of President Ramchandra Paudel.
Those released are Bir Bahadur Chaudhary of Tikapur municipality-3, Pradip Chaudhary, and Harinarayan Chaudhary of Munuwa-4.
Nagarik Unmukti Party Patron Resham Lal Chaudhary, President Ranjita Chaudhary, Member of the House of Representatives of Kailali-4 Arun Kumar Chaudhary, Minister of Land Management, Agriculture and Cooperatives of Sudur Paschim Province Rameshwar Chaudhary, Minister of State Kailash Chaudhary and other provincial assembly members and leaders and activists of Nagarik Unmukti Party went to the prison to meet and welcome them.
