KATHMANDU: Nepal’s western region is currently under a partial effect of westerly winds while Koshi Province is witnessing a partial effect of the low pressure area formed in the Bay of Bengal.

According to the Weather Forecast Division, the weather today (Friday) is generally clear in the hilly areas of the country while the rest of the country is partly cloudy.

Today afternoon, the weather will be clear in the hilly areas of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki provinces and the remaining areas will be generally clear, the Division said.

Similarly, there is a possibility of light snowfall at one or two places in the high hills and Himalayan areas of Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces.

According to the Division, the weather will be partly cloudy in the hilly areas of the country tonight, while the rest of the area will be generally clear.
